What?

A remarkable, and unreadable (!) front page designed in response to the killings of journalists in Gaza. And that was exactly what Tomato Košir was looking for; a front page with anger and urgency.

Who?

Strong social engagement drives designer Tomato Košir, who created this powerful front page. His work doesn’t just communicate—it makes bold, unmatched statements. Coverjunkie is eager to learn more about him and his perspective.

Something that provokes not just a rational reaction, but also an emotional response.

With so many journalists being killed in Gaza (around 220 since Israel’s war began in 2023 according to Reporters Without Borders), did you feel the need to protest—especially last week, when newspapers worldwide showed solidarity with all-black front pages?
